Dr CC Tan is a fully accredited specialist in Gastroenterology since 1993, by the Ministry of Health and the Singapore Medical Council. He is a leader in civil society and the non-profit arena in Singapore.

Dr CC Tan has been a doctor for 38 years and a specialist Gastroenterologist for 28 years. He holds internal medicine qualifications from the United Kingdom, Ireland and Singapore, and professional fellowships from London, Edinburgh and Singapore that recognise his specialist achievements, research and. contributions to the profession. He trained in the Singapore General Hospital and National University Hospital and underwent 2 years of advanced therapeutic endoscopy training in the United Kingdom. He completed his public service as a Consultant Gastroenterologist and founder of the Gastroenterology Unit in Tan Tock Seng Hospital before entering private practice.
